Work On The Wild Side
Well now, I'm working from home, not the wild side.
But the vets featured in Channel 4's new documentary, "Work On The Wilde Side" are out in the South African plains looking after all kinds of animals.
It was a great pleasure to write 10 tracks for this show back in December, when the world was still normal. I greatly enjoyed channeling The Lion King's score!
You can hear one of the tracks on this clip (narrated by Greg James).
I've waited for years to break my Channel 4 duck - I've now had music broadcast on ALL UK terrestrial channels...only took me fifteen years!
Anyway it's a nice bit of news to have this programme out amidst all this silliness going on right now...and even better that it's on every day and we watch it together as a whole family, with Daddy being annoying and going "that's one of mine" every so often!
MEANWHILE...you've probably spotted across social media (and if you haven't then I'm not doing my job properly!) that I've had another gig on the go for the last few months...I've written a book!
You'll notice that the from page of www.nikhaley.com now reflects my new status as an author. How long it will last, or well it will go, time will tell. But if you'd like to help me with the endeavour, by all means pick up a copy of the Happy HomeWorker, a book all about how to work from home and stay sane & happy...so we all need it right now! And if you enjoy it, please do leave me a review on Amazon. Thanks!
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend. Stay safe. x
