My music's back in the Christmas TV listings this year.

In 2010 I co-wrote TV themes for some of Five's festive output. The themes have re-surfaced most years since in new versions of those shows, always something like "50 Greatest Christmas Adverts" or something similar. It's always a thrill to see my music actually broadcast, I still haven't got used to it. It's kind of like...

Well it's high time I added to the Christmas listings with some new music, so I'm delighted to have collaborated with the brilliant Dan McGrath (who co-wrote the Strictly Come Dancing theme tune, among many others!) on 2 shows for ITV this Christmas.

1. All Star Musicals, Christmas Eve, 6.40pm, ITV1

Hosted by Freddie Flintoff (?!) and featuring a bunch of celebs, guided by the legend that is Michael Crawford, competing to see who's best at singing show tunes. It was fun co-writing this theme music - a classic Broadway-style overture, complete with tap dancers and of course, a jazz hands finish!

2. A Right Royal Quiz, New Year's Eve, 3.30pm, ITV1

Ferne Britton hosts a brand new quiz about the royal family. I provided the piano for this theme tune, a rocked-up version of Rule Britannia. I'm thinking this will get quite a few more viewers since the royal wedding was announced!

Happy viewing!
